I have no idea what that is refering to but we're using 0.8.8 with the version
of cURL we have in our ports tree. I can do some more testing and such when I'm
at home.

I'm very well aware of that. I'd be more inclined to test our port/package if
there were src snaps I could find easily. I know you mentioned there were some
hidden away in some Debian repo.
