The question is: would the path way work with the proprietary player ?
Please take a look at:

  testsuite/misc-ming.all/FlashVarsTest.as (the self-contained testcase)
  testsuite/misc-ming.all/FlashVarsTest.html (an HTML you can use to run the 
test with the proprietary player)
  testsuite/misc-ming.all/Makefile.am (FlashVarsTest-Runner rule, how we run 
the test)

You'd need to modify all 3 files to improve the test.
