There's no configure.in, we use configure.ac instead.
libtdl is created by ./autogen.sh.

Both CVS and daily snapshot should be fine.
The daily snapshots are not much tested, possibly cygnal
headers are simply not in a DIST variable of the Makefile.ams.
Patches welcome.
