Follow-up Comment #1:
There were a few problems leading up to this failure:
- The tests, despite specifying an exported font symbol, were always using
device fonts.
- getTextExtent only worked on device fonts; not on embedded fonts or imported
fonts.
My suspicion is that given the unavailability of dejafont, Gnash would fall
back to a Sans font so similar that only one failure would be observed.
Test fixed in a9f9fb9fd, getTextExtent in e584b4c8978b. Seeing as all testing
is now done on a font included in the source tree, the attached patch in this
bug is obsolete.
