Follow-up Comment #1, bug #38253 (project gnash):
The thing is, your Flash file used ActionScript 3.
You can verify it yourself by right-clicking on that white area
File > Properties > Stage Properties > Root VM version
If it shown "AVM2 (unsupported)", you're out of luck :)
Gnash didn't support playing Flash file with ActionScript 3 (just ActionScript
2 or 1).
And developer cannot make Gnash support them, since they need to rewrite the
whole thing to make it so.
P.S. Gnash devs' nomenclature for ActionScript 3 is "AVM2"
and ActionScript 2,1 is "AVM1"
