Follow-up Comment #17:

It's a bug in Midori's NPAPI implementation, not Gnash. The two file
descriptors are initialized to -1, as is traditional. They then get a real
value when the socket connection to the player is created. This currently
works under several different browsers, and several different platforms, if it
didn't, everyone woul;d be screaming at us with bug reports.
