  Yes, as the API that the extensions use has changed, so it won't
compile. This has happened several times to all the extensions, but the
other have been updated, this one wasn't. I'll be honest it's only used
for a very specific application.

  This extension was used in a flash based desktop, so that when
clicking on an icon, it would launch of pre-defined application. You
obviously have very little contact with Gnash end users. While the
company I originally added this for is likely using a several years old
release, nobody noticed it was bit-rotted.

  While I do agree deleting old code can be a good thing, I strongly
suggest you ask the rest of working on Gnash before deleting things. I'd
still like to see this reverted, cause it's impossible to fix if it's gone.
