Oh… that’s what I need! I wasn’t sure
where libixml was even located. Ok, now I looked and in /usr/lib I have: libixml.so.2 -> libixml.so.2.0.4 Todd Worden Web-Wired, LLC 434.906.0420 From: Carl Chave
[mailto:address@hidden Sorry, posting again to list this time. Todd, Not much action on this list I'm afraid. One feeble
suggestion: I've found several times that a package looks for a specific
file name or version and the one you have is newer or older and it doesn't find
it. Creating symlinks with the right file name pointing to the other
version has worked for me. For example, I've got a couple of symlinks
pointing at libixml.so.2.0.3 in my /usr/lib folder: -rw-r--r-- 1 root 549 44328 May
28 2007 libixml.a Take a look at what you have... Carl

across uShare. I have a server running Fedora 7 2.6.23.x86_64. I
attempted the installation documented at http://ushare.geekbox.org/ and ran into difficulties. Steps: 1. I
yum installed libupnp 2.
Downloaded, extracted, installed pkg-config 3. Executed
CFLAGS="-Os" ./Configure –prefix=/usr 4. Executed
make Here I received an error stating "config.mak is not
present". I realized the previous command failed with an error
message "Error, can't find libixml". I did a search for this libixml and it seems it is supposed to be included
with libupnp package. Can someone assist? Thanks! Todd Worden Web-Wired, LLC 434.906.0420
