Hi. I am having an issue w/ STextIO.ReadString and STextIO.SkipLine.
Consider this:
PROCEDURE PressAnyKey;
VAR dummy: ARRAY [0..10] OF CHAR;
BEGIN
STextIO.WriteString(' Press <enter> to continue.');
STextIO.WriteLn;
STextIO.ReadString(dummy);
STextIO.SkipLine;
STextIO.WriteLn;
END PressAnyKey;
When I use this routine, I have to use ctrl-d for the routine to exit
and the program to continue. <enter> does not. When I hit <enter>, the
character is echoed to the terminal but the program does not continue.
Using the StrIO routines works as intended, but not the ISO routines.
Am I missing anything here?
