Hi,
I had seen a similar problem on Shishir's laptop. It looks like a hard
disk problem to me where the journalled file system entries are not
matching the ones set in it. Maybe Shishir can help you out more. I
have also had a lot of hard disk problems but
fsck set them all right. Did you try fsck -r /dev/<whatever> after
unmounting the disk. You can also try the verbose switch ie. -V with
it and see what comes up.
