Hello guys,

                Im the author of http://ysmv7.sourceforge.net i've recently 
turned it into GPL license.
                Its an ICQ console client that runs on linux, bsd, Win32, BeOS 
and QNX.
                Its based on the last version of the protocol (v7) (v8 is just 
an extension).
                It downloads the icq contacts stored in the servers and has 
many usefull
                features :).

                So if you like the code, just tell me if you can link it, 
promote it, whatever :)
