I plan to install this program on a GNU project machine.

Is IBMer Wietse Venema's free mailer "Postfix" GPL-compatible or not?
GPL projects like MailMan specifically recommend Postfix
but I find no listing at http://www.fsf.org/directory
so how can I tell?

Either way it should be listed.
