I use https://conemu.github.io/ sometimes, but did you not know that you can change the Cygwin default terminal characteristics? Right click the upper left icon and select options.

 

Even the standard Windows console window has Defaults and Properties in that same location.

Under Windows, Gforth's default terminal window has text a bit too small and too dim for my aging eyes. Under a MINGW terminal it runs, but history doesn't work; up-arrow moves the cursor. Does anyone have any sort of solution for Gforth to run under Windows with a terminal window of adjustable font and colors, please? Or even fixed 14pt font in high contrast would do.
