I have gforth working fine on my Macs - currently macOS Sierra, but it worked when I was on Mavericks, too. You should be able to install it via Homebrew (http://brew.sh) - after installing brew itself, just run `brew install gforth`.

I've been lurking on this list for a while, reading bits and pieces.

I've posted a bug report on savannah.gnu.org, but there

han't been any activity in the FORTH project since before June of 2016.

I don't have high hopes of seeing this working soon.

Do you have any recommendations for other FORTH compilers for OSX?

I can SSH to my Raspberry Pi and install FORTH there too, if I really have to.

Tony
