Summary: Debian Packaging: gforge-dns-bind9 should not stop/start but reload
Initial Comment:
The bind9 documentation [1] says:
> 1.2. Handling of Configuration File Errors
>
> In BIND 9, named refuses to start if it detects an
error in
> named.conf. Earlier versions would start despite
errors, causing the

detected during
> subsequent reloads do not cause the server to exit.
> Errors in master files do not cause the server to exit,
but they
> do cause the zone not to load.
that means that the installation process [2] should
absolutely try avoiding stop/starting bind as it does now
and instead just reload the config file.
A failed name server is about the worst that can
happen - apart from "rm -rf" type stuff of course.
