i'm using gdb5.3 under redhat 9.0 . it seems that gdb
can't give information about functions in an ELF style
binary code by "info functions". i use "file " to
display it as follows:
ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1
(SYSV), for GNU/Linux 2.0.0, statically linked,
stripped.
But when i gdb some binary file dynamically linked(
ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1
(SYSV), for GNU/Linux 2.0.0, dynamically linked (uses
shared libs), stripped) , it can display part of
function names through "info functions"
can u explain it?
cheers!
Auber
