[Gdb] exits

Hi,

I compiled a program with -ggdb and run it using gdb.
I set a breakpoint at a function I know it calls, but
gdb doesn't stop at the breakpoint. It finishes with
the message Program Exited Normally, but the program
isn't finished. 

Does anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
