I do get the same error as you in my logs.

The bug you linked is rather old and indeed, wikipedia says:
"With the release of GNOME 2.22 in April 2008, GnomeVFS was declared
deprecated in favor of GVfs and GIO, requesting that developers do not
use it in new applications."

What I great idea to give the almost same name to two different
frameworks ... :/

So, are you planning to upgrade gcmd to use the newer GVfs?
