no works. It does not detect the mouse sidebuttons at all.
Started gcmd with -d=a, and i can see usual key events like
[UU] Key event: <control>m (0x6d)

btw i can't compile the latest GIT, it says
checking if gtk+ >= 2.8.0 exists... configure: error: no
and if libgtk2.0-dev was meant, i've version 2.24-3-1 (Debian Unstable)
(glib >=2.6 is ok here)
