Well do as you wish. BTW. Since this homepage is written in html strict it can be converted to xhtml on the fly, just a change of DTD and that closing slash on empty tags like img or br, nothing else needed. But there is really nothing to gain from it since it already put the browsers into strict-mode. The browser would not handle it differently at all.
