[Gcl-devel] 2.6.10/axiom mac

Hi Tim!  Just to let you know I am attempting the mac build now.  As you
know, unfortunately, there are likely more toolchain version skew issues
here, but we'll take a look.

Just FYI, but at the moment, Debian/Ubuntu unstable has installed gcc
4.9, and there is apparently a bug on i386 with the -fomit-frame-pointer
switch used by default by gcl.  Please ask for details if needed.
Should be no issues with gcc-4.8 and below.
