Please try again after the latest commit.  In case of failure, please
post the config.log, configure output, and make output.

As for the xdr_long pointer issue, this needs to be fixed, but I am
stunned that they really define this as an int *.  How is xdr_int
defined?  Is the only way to check for this to run a test compiled with
-Werror?
