As Gaby reports, successful builds at my end, of CLTL1 and ANSI versions on WinXP and Vista.  

I haven't tested further, but will report back with ANSI tests and attempt builds of ACL2, Axiom and Maxima.

No, nothing here.  Perhaps you could send me some build instructions
and I can see if I can reproduce in under wine.

A build log of course would be great.  Its very frustrating that this
is so difficult on Windows.  Is 'tee' available?
