Greetings!  I believe this is addressed in current cvs snapshots, both
2.6.8pre and 2.7.0 (cvs HEAD):

cvs -d :pserver:address@hidden:/sources/gcl \
     co -d gcl-2.6.8pre -r Version_2_6_8pre

Please let me know if problems persist here!
