Greetings!  OK, this should be fixed in 2.6.8pre now too -- cvs head
was already good.  Please check it out if you can and let me know if
problems persist for you.  

cvs -z9 -q co -d gcl-2.6.8pre -r Version_2_6_8pre gcl
cd gcl
./configure && make
