[Gcl-devel] the syntax of "mwrite" ?

Hi there,

I am a beginner of GCL. When I read sample code from
websites, I could not understand "mwrite". For
example,

    (1)  (Dir-Sh (array bool))
    (2)  (Pmw    rat)
    (3)  (setq Dir-Sh (mwrite Dir-Sh Pmw true false))

Could someone kindly explain what (3) means in the
above ? Thanks a lot!
