configure --enable-ansi --enable-readline --disable-statsysbfd --enable-locbfd
make compiles in 18m3s

303 ansi test failures

The random tester ran for over 2.5 hours (5000 8) without crashing,
with RES memory increasing to 118MiB and SHA staying around 14MiB.

What is dlopen for?  Should I try that instead?
