Greetings!  OK, we'll put this in, together with the stack change and
the lowering of the default opt level to avoid triggering the universe
ansi load bug, if you agree and can confirm for me that this clears a)
the ignore-errors issue and b) the universe load issue for (hopefully)
3.3.1, 3.3.3 and 3.4.0.  This is all we should need, right?
