Greetings, Paul, and thanks as always.  OK, I think I've fixed the
cross-closure-boundary tag-ref bug exposed in your random tester --
thanks!  I'm doing this a bit quickly, and need more time later to
review the logic carefully, but we're already past 2000 successful
tests of the same magnitude (as per your earlier posted instructions,
1000/8 I believe).  I'll leave this running as long as I can and will
report back.  If you would like to confirm too, that would be great!
