Code compiled with GCL's compiler is > copyright by its author, not by the copyright holders of GCL. I assume you would need some exception clause to the GPL? (As in the Bison case.) The Bison exception is relevant because Bison copies a substantial piece of code directly into its output. The actual tables generated from the user's parser are not covered by our copyright in any case.
