MP3 is not a software. It is a format as is OpenXML.

Those distros do not create MP3s. They don't provide instructions to
create MP3s either. They reproduce them. So it breaks a mononopoly
instead of fortifying it.

If you discover something that violates FSF software guidelines, you can
report it on the respective distro mailing list and it will be treated
as a critical bug.
