Currently pod migration is not supported, but I understand that it is 
scheduled to be included in the beta release. I don't know when the beta will 
be published however.

I'm not certain, but I don't believe that this is currently possible. A degree 
of 'federation' is available with Friendika (see 
http://diasporial.com/articles/federation-is-here) but afaik the ability to 
import contacts via OStatus does not yet exist.
