Mr Dorrington,
                         thanks for the information. The copyright
laws in this country are a mess. The US has better set out laws on
fair trading, we have 'fair dealing' which seems to exclude trading,
which gets free software nowhere, given that trade is not excluded by
fsf principles.
  This is not helped by the UK's reliance on precedent and the need to
take objections to court rather than having more exhaustive
legislature.
