The mis‐conception that free software needs to be described in terms of
open source is one very good reason why we need to have this debate in
the first place.  Free software should be explained in the terms of its
values.  The free software and open source philosophies are different,
and I don’t see it changing, they are always going to be different.
We’re here to advocate free software and its philosophies.
