[Fsuk-manchester] Event at Marbella Cafe, Sat 29th, including computer recycling

Hi everyone,

Vicky, who was involved in the free space Manchester project and has
helped with getting the computers set up in the Marbella Cafe has
contacted us about an event happening this coming Saturday (29th
November) at the Marbella Cafe.

There will be a series of workshops for people who know little about
computers, giving them the chance to learn about recycling computers,
free software and GNU/Linux. As well as other interesting stuff such
as the community regeneration search engine that they will be testing
and some ethical trading, free food etc.

The event will be from 12 to 7pm. They will also be showing some films
about how people have been doing similar projects in Brasil and
similar through the afternoon.

Vicky has asked if anyone from Manchester Free Software would like to
assist in the tutorials/workshop. It will all be very informal and
it's a great opportunity to get involved in a community project as
well as find out about how other people are using free software.
