Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday 18th November, 2008.

This month we have an exciting talk from a very special guest. Elmar
Geese is coming all the way from Germany to give a talk entitled "The
Value of Free Software and how it changes Society, Economy and
Business". Elmar is the founder & CEO of a free software company
called tarent [1], founded in 1996. tarent has around 60 employees now
and is growing. He is also the chairperson of the German Linux
Association (LIVE), an organisation of companies and people doing Open
Source and Free Software Business with around 200 members, and the
Speaker of OBOOE, an European Open Source Business Network with
members from 8+ Countries now.

The meeting will take place at 19:00 in the Manchester Digital
Development Agency on Portland Street, although there will be people
around from 18.30. Access is via the doorbells at the entrance.
Wheelchair access via the lift is available to the left of the main
entrance.

 MDDA provide complimentary Fair Trade tea and coffee.
