It used to be when there was no alternative. Now there is gNewSense,
there is no excuse.

I don't think it is principled for a free software group to give
proprietary software to people. Most will follow that action to its
conclusion - never wanting to switch to a 100% free system. Like
almost all GNU/Linux users, who don't know why the system they love to
use exists.

Let the open source LUGs do that; what else differentiates FS groups
from LUGs if not standing firm on the principle of software freedom?
