Indeed. I intend to try it on my laptop at some point soon.
I expect everything except wifi (winbond internal wifi) to work functionally. It will be interesting to see if this is the case. (For the record the wifi doesn't work *at all* with anything which isn't Windows.)

It wasn't intended to solve anything, as stated - I do not really wish to engage in this debate. I feel that this isn't something which is going to be easy to bring to a snap resolution, or at least, if we do come to a quick resolution, I suspect it may be damaging to the group.


I *suggest*, and this is open to suggestions, that we try and take a step back, reacess the situation and see if we can come up with long term[1] and short term resolution to this obviously quite sensitive issue.
