Both, it's certainly very popular, which has made it more commonly
used compared to other distros, at least IME.

Hmm, I didn't realise that they had no specific licensing policy for
documentation/artwork. I might see if I can suggest that on brainstorm
or somewhere.

Have you read the Ubuntu forums? ;)

I would say that Ubuntu support is more common, particularly on
blogs/forums, although I would expect LUGs to be able to help with
both.
