Would you rather exclude those who are interested in free software
related news, but not in the discussion?

Do people have to participate in our community to hear about things?
Doesn’t that somewhat defeat the point of trying to raise awareness
outside the group in the first place?

How should a community work, and how doesn’t this model work for that?
