Of course, anything I say is my view, obviously. But the subject under
discussion here is what is right and wrong, not what my opinions are,
nor what his opinions are.

You appear to be rejecting the universality of morality, rather than
refuting what I've said. If you think you know why choosing
proprietary software is morally good, please let me and the list know
your reasoning :-)
