I think if that were the case, no trademark logos would be covered by
copyright, but they are, so it's not and the rest of that argument
falls.  Also, unlike paying under the minimum wage or ignoring Health
and Safety rules, there's no prohibition of surrendering some of one's
freedom to reproduce a trademark.

But I'm out of my depth too, really.
