You may recall that the UK Government currently classes software
development and much computer-related activity as part of the Creative
Industries. At the start of December, the Treasury published the Cox
Review of Creativity in Business. It's online as PDFs at
http://www.hm-treasury.gov.uk/independent_reviews/cox_review/coxreview_index.cfm
Do you think it's relevant/helpful/painful?
Also in this morning's press feed from the Dept for Trade and Industry's
Small Business Service were some reshuffles of ministers after Lord
Patenter Sainsbury retired. Most relevantly, Malcolm Wicks MP is now
Minister of State for Science and Innovation, while Margaret Hodge MBE MP
now has responsibility for SBS, e-commerce and communications and
information industries. Ian McCartney remains responsible for competition.

By the way, does anyone know where swpat.ffii.org / wiki.ffii.org went?
