They will find that the /Earth/ has got it wrong, MS is never wrong <g>.
But they aren't the first (and won't be the last), even a prominent SF
writer and scientist got it wrong (Larry Niven in the first edition of
Ringworld), and one 'litreary' author had his protagonists standing on
the east coast of Scotland watching the sun sink into the sea...

(I'm sure there are some FLOSS examples of similarly 'obvious' errors --
if not, there will be sometime...)
