Brief Description: To address the strategic positioning of the use of 
Free/Open Source Software at certain levels of the platforms envisaged 
for eGovernment services, in particular the issues of openess and 
interoperability. To discuss how, at the European level, it is possible 
to ensure an environment stimulating optimal creativity and innovation 
in the development of services and software,as well as the possibility 
to use these platforms to build upon with sector specific tools and 
components.
