Salut,

consortium regroupant Best Buy Co., Hastings Entertainment, Tower
Records, Trans World Entertainment, Virgin Entertainment, and Wherehouse
Music.

deux fois, "Le Capital" quatre fois, écouté "Anarchy in the UK" 23 fois

---------

A première vue :

http://www.echo.com

"The consortium will build upon the in-store marketing capabilities of
its retail partners to drive consumer awareness of digital music
offerings, and will help drive adoption of new, advanced digital music
services as they evolve."

http://www.echo.com/technology/index.html

"Echo is continually expanding and improving its services through the
in-house development of cutting edge technology, as well as the
cultivation of new technology partnerships with software, service, and
hardware companies."

2 points pour celui qui donne des noms ;)

Assorti des indissociables brevets

"Echo's patent-pending Song Selection technology delivers music based on
users' music profiles using a sophisticated algorithm, reducing the need
for continuous song requests and time-consuming playlist creation."

"

User Experience Program Manager Intern, Summer 2001
Microsoft Corp., eHome Division

Managed research and development of the user experience for the
following eHome PC features: media recommendations, PC applications on
the TV, software keyboard, interactive TV, and TV Tokens.
Responsibilities included writing feature specifications, managing
design and usability testing for features, and integrating Microsoft
Research technology and technology from other Microsoft product groups
into features as appropriate. Also contributed to high-level planning
and prototyping of the following eHome features: video jukebox, video
messaging/conferencing, and home awareness technology.

Research Intern, Summer 2000
Accenture, Accenture Technology Labs

"Performed design, prototyping, and development of GroupCast. GroupCast
is a ambient, public display that uses profiles of people passing by to
project content that is deemed to be of interest to both people in an
effort to stimulate conversation among people and, consequently,
increase social capital. GroupCast also explores how group preference
arbitration can be moved from the audio domain (MusicFX) into the visual
domain. Design work included surveying the current research literature
on ambient displays, informal interviewing of potential users of
GroupCast, and developing a research direction for GroupCast.
Development work included creating both paper prototypes (storyboards)
and computational prototypes of the system.

"

http://www.cc.gatech.edu/~jeremy/research/groupcast.html

"
GroupCast endeavors to improve social capital by stimulating
conversation - unrelated to work - among employees by displaying items
of interest to a group of employees in the vicinity of it."

"Typically GroupCast would be placed in a place where employees go to
take a break from work, such as a lounge. For example, if the two
employees in the lounge both have interests in sailing, GroupCast might
display a web page about sailing, and this page might serve to stimulate
a conversation between the two employees.
