1. On a présenté aux réprésentants présents à la réunion le résultat de
l'enquête faite (auprès des éducateurs et des entités présents au Forum
mondial d'éducation de 2001) à propos de la date de la deuxième édition du
Forum mondial de l'éducation puisqu'il y a eu recours sur la décision
antérieure de le faire au mois de novembre prochain. Le Comité
organisateur a reçu 602 messages : 198 ont opté pour le deuxième semestre
de cette année et 302 pour le mois de janvier 2003 ; parmi ceux qui ont
opté pour le mois de novembre, 90% sont des éducateurs résidant dans
l'État du Rio Grande do Sul, parmi ceux qui ont opté pour le mois de
janvier 2003, 90 % sont des éducateurs résidant ailleurs ; parmi ceux
vivant à l'étranger, 95% ont préféré le mois de janvier 2003.
2. Sensibles aux manifestations - documents à l'appui - de l'enquête,
et après une proposition de la Coordination Générale, le Comité
organisateur, par unanimité, a reporté la date de réalisation de la
deuxième édition du Forum Mondial de l'Éducation au mois de janvier 2003,
du 19 au 22. Le Forum Social Mondial aura lieu du 23 au 28 janvier.
3. Au mois de novembre prochain aura lieu à Porto Alegre un Forum
régional d'éducation, préparant la deuxième édition du Forum Mondial de
l'Éducation. Dans d'autres régions et continents des activités de
préparation sont également stimulées.
4. A été homologuée la constitution du Comité Politique du Forum
Mondial de l'Éducation, composé de: Gouvernements (3) Mairie de Porto
Alegre, Gouvernement de l'État du Estado do Rio Grande do Sul,
Gouverrnement de São Tomé e Príncipe/Ministère à l'Éducation, Mouvement
syndical et étudiant (10) Central Única dos Trabalhadores-CUT,
Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Educação-CNTE, Sindicato
Nacional dos Docentes das Instituições de Ensino Superior-ANDES,
Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Estabelecimentos de
Ensino-CONTEE, Sindicato Nacional dos Servidores da Educação Básica e
Profissional-SINASEFE, Federação Nacional dos Sindicatos das Universidades
Brasileiras-FASUBRA, Internacional da Educação-IE, Confederação dos

5. On a défini que le thème général de la deuxième édition du Forum
Mondial de l'Éducation portera sur "Éducation et Transformation". Jusqu'à
la prochaine réunion du Comité d'organisation, dans 30 jours, des
suggestions sur ce sujet pourront être envoyées au Secrétariat Exécutif
address@hidden ainsi que des suggestions
concernant les axes thématiques (trois ou quatre), accompagnées de
résumés.
6. Les autres points de la convocation pour la réunion seront définis
et envoyés, après discussions du Secrétariat Exécutif, aussi que les prix
d'inscription, les réductions pour les étudiants et éducateurs populaires,
les stratégies de communication et les démarches d'infrastructure.
7. La prochaine réunion du Comité Organisateur du Forum Mondial de
l'Éducation aura lieu dans une trentaine de jours ; la date et l'horaire
seront définis par le Comité Politique. La réunion sera préalablement
convoquée par moyen élétronique.

1. Was introduced to all present the results of the query involving the
whole partakers (educators and entities) of the World Education Forum,
when was requested the opinion on the best date for the second edition of
the event to be held, since there were appeals on the first decision of
accomplishing the WEF - Second Edition in the coming November. Six hundred
and two messages were received, and among them 198 voted for November as
the ideal date, while 302 rather to have the event accomplished in January
2003; Among those who voted for November, 90% are educators resident in
Rio Grande do Sul, and 90% of the ones who voted for January live outside
the State, considering that among the residents abroad, 95% manifested to
be for the accomplishment in January. Among the entities connected to
education, 85% considered January the best option.
2. Sensitive to the manifestations documented in the query, by
proposition of the General Coordination, de Organization Committee, in
unanimous decision, altered the date for the accomplishment of the World
Education Forum - Second Edition, to January 2003, on the days 19, 20, 21
and 22. While the World Social Forum - 2003 is going to take place between
the 23rd. and the 28th. of January.
3. In November this year is going to take place, in Porto Alegre, a
Regional Education Forum, to work as a preparation to the WEF second
edition. Further preparatory activities are to be stimulated in other
regions and continents.
4. Was recognized the constitution of the WEF Political Committee,

5. Was defined that the General Topic of the WEF - Second Edition will
have as content "Education and Transformation". Up to the next
Organization Committee gathering, in 30 days, suggestion concerning this
topic may be sent to the Executive Secretary,

summary.
6. All further guidelines' topics, such as applications values; subsidy
for students and popular educators; media strategies and infrastructure
issues, will be defined and counseled by the Executive Secretary.
7. The next WEF Organization Committee is going to happen in 30 days -
the schedule is to be defined by the Political Committee and will be
called, in advance, by E-mail.
