Hi,

I'm experiencing similar stuff with version 0.69 and 0.70, but I think
this happens since I updated from Fedora Core 5 to 6, so maybe it's a
bug or some reduced fault tolerance in recent guile versions … Which
version of guile do you have installed? (I have guile-1.8.0 and receive
segfaults)
