Al, Automake 1.9 as minimal requirement is fairly acceptable. 1.9 was released in 2004. I've been re-organizing files for what will eventually become FreeIPMI 0.6.0. The re-organization will likely have files > 99 characters long, which requires we init automake with the 'tar-ustar' option in autoconf to handle the longer filenames. I know that a few others had issue with this about a year ago, since 'tar-ustar' required atleast automake 1.9. Since a year has now passed, I'm hoping this is no longer an issue. Will anyone have any issue with this? Al
