This is a announcement for the release of alpha4 version of FreeIPMI. The
tarballs can be found at:

After installation of "fish", you can find "sensors" and "bmc-config"
installed in the ${prefix}/sbin dir. Man pages are available for both
the utilities.
The sensors utility has been through a fairly comprehensive multistage QA
procedure and is ready for production use. The bmc-config utility has passed
through the initial stages of QA and is also usable. It will be continuing
through more rigorous QA stages over the next week.
An updated sensors interface specification (3.2) has been attached. It
contains a minor clarification of the group option's usuage. After review of
the software please let me know if there is anything unsatisfactory or that
you feel needs to be changed.
